|lovely corruption - Oliver Hockenhull|
"LOVELY CORRUPTION" uses original footage from "Heavenly Bodies" (producer/director: unknown), a visionary 1920s film containing imaginative astrophysical visualizations. The image sequence is of the planet earth exploding. "LOVELY CORRUPTION" is driven by a sense of Nietzschean collapse and renewal projecting colour/sound ~ the trope of synaesthesia and the power of pure noise. The Raven is a multimedia collaboration of Ed End (video, featuring Damaris Baker as Lenore) and Thanato Twist With Oleg's Sound System (music) using Edgar Allan Poe's famous poem read by Basil Rathbone. This amazing work is as weird as catchy, as hypnotic as unpredictable.
